Sundance Regional Dispatch - Police, Fire or EMS
Sundance Regional Dispatch software allows agencies to combine dispatch functions
under one software umbrella. SRD combines regional dispatch with mobile emergency
dispatch. These powerful technologies allow dispatch centers to handle calls for
service more effectively. Communication centers can now manage calls for multiple
agencies, even in different jurisdictions. SRD employs a rule based system for determining
dispatch priorities and which units should be dispatched to calls. Combined with
mobile computing systems the information that used to be radioed to police and fire
vehicles can be transferred to waiting units seamlessly. This increases the effectiveness
of dispatchers and safety service professionals.
Computer Aided Dispatch - Police, Fire or EMS - COMS
Dispatch is feature rich, easy-to-use and has an open architecture. Perfectly designed
for any size department, 2 units to 200, this powerful tool can be the central component
of any public safety answering point. The COMS Dispatch module (CAD) shares databases
with both the Personnel and Records modules to provide intelligent, rules based
control for dispatch management.
Records Management - Windows-based screens make data
entry and reporting easy, clear and concise. Custom data labels for charge codes
and unlimited data elements allow you to customize what data is collected by report
and how it is displayed and reported. Use of the Master Index for names, address,
vehicle and property simplify report completion.
Mobile Data Terminal - Police, Fire or EMS - Directly
integrates with Sundance CAD to allow for Silent Dispatch and Self-Initiated calls.
Works over cellular or radio modems that support TCP/IP protocol. Allows for the
Completion of Incident, Traffic and Citations at the scene.
Jail Management - Jail management has never been easier.
The Jail module provides management tools and reporting specifically designed for

OLLEISN Version 2.0 Level I & II certified!
The Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP),
on behalf of the local law enforcement, has launched and initiative to establish
the OHIO Local Law Enforcement Information
Sharing Network (OLLEISN) for law enforcement agencies within the state.
The primary vision of the system is "to protect the Homeland from acts of terrorism
and Ohio citizens from acts of crime, by creating a network and culture of information-sharing
among local law enforcement agencies." The goal is to provide local law enforcement
officers with the information and communication abilities necessary to make the
most accurate and timely street-level decisions by providing a common set of information
to be shared by local enforcement agencies under a secure infrastructure. The mission
statement for the OACP effort is: "To create a voluntary law enforcement information-sharing
network, based on model policies and established technical and security standards,
to assist officers and investigators to prevent and respond to acts of terrorism
and crime.
Sundance's RMS and MDT packages directly integrates with OLLEISN. Reports are automatically
uploaded and processed by the OLLEISN servers each night. Sundance's MDT package
searches OLLEISN for pertinent information when ever a search is ran through the
mobile system.
NIBRS & OIBRS certified!
The Ohio Incident-Based Reporting System (OIBRS) is Ohio's version of the National
Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS). OIBRS is a voluntary crime reporting program
in which Ohio law enforcement agencies can submit crime statistics directly to the
State and Federal Government in an automated format. This process has replaced the
UCR reporting process in many areas of the state.
