“We have added a new status monitor program  to our list of state of the art safety software applications,” stated Dennis Withem, president of Sundance Systems Inc.   The downloadable feature is available now at no charge to current Sundance CAD customers. 

“The application can be quickly installed and used on any PC in the police, fire or EMS department.  We developed it as an additional feature of our Computer Aided Dispatch program to enable all decision makers in safety service departments to have vital information at their fingertips at all times.  It displays the current status of all vehicles as well as  any active CAD calls,” Withem adds. 

Subscribers need not have purchased the AVL (Automatic Vehicle Locator) system in order to view unit status with this feature.  Chiefs, supervisors and credentialed administrators can now access up to the minute positioning of utilized and available department vehicles.
